Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, a Global lead for all Purchasing and Supplier Quality processes and methods. The mission statement for our organization is "To enable the Purchasing & Supplier Quality organization and our Supplier Partners to meet their objectives in the most effective and efficient manner as possible. Our focus is on continuous improvement."

This year’s theme for BCBS’s 2018 Michigan China Forum is “Visionary”. Our theme covers five main topics of interest: FinTech, Strategic Management, Marketing Strategies, New Media, and Business Ethics. BCBS will invite speakers who are well-known in their field to share their unique perspective and understanding of what being a visionary means to them.

In 1991, Kolt Communications began providing a variety of communication counseling services to both public and private sector clients statewide including: public relations, advertising and media consulting. Robert Kolt earned a master’s degree in communication from Michigan State University and earned an undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University in broadcast & cinematic arts and journalism.

Paulette L. Stenzel, J.D. is professor of Sustainability and International Business Law in the Department of Finance at the Broad School. Professor Stenzel coordinates offerings in the Business Law group within the Department of Finance. She is active in teaching and advising Honors College students and is the originator of Honors Business Program in the Yucatan of Mexico. Her off campus professional activities include service as staff editor for two major journals:  The American Business Law Journal, and the Journal of Legal Studies in Education. Her research, public service, and service to students are in the area of sustainability.  Recent publications cover Corporate Social Responsibility and the tools of sustainable development:   Fair Trade, Direct Trade, microfinance, cooperatives, and local purchasing.  She has also written on major trade agreements including the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Dominican Republic-Central American Free Trade Agreement (DR-CAFTA), and the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT).

Brian T. Pentland received his PhD in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1991 and SB in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1981. His publications have appeared in Academy of Management Review, Accounting, Organizations and Society, Administrative Science Quarterly, Management Science, Organization Science, YouTube and elsewhere. He is a recipient of the 2015-16 William J. Beal Outstanding Faculty Award.

Michal Lorenc is a 14-year veteran of Google and has held multiple leadership roles on the revenue generating side of the business. He's currently heading up Google's Ticketing & Live Events Group where he oversees Sales and Account Services Team responsible for fostering strategic relationships with key partners in Sports, Family Entertainment, Music and Ticketing Industries; and works closely with key stakeholders across Google's Family of Brands to develop new ad formats and products for the Live Events category. A seasoned industry veteran, he worked on a variety of strategic initiatives in marketing, business development and sales capabilities in North America and Europe, including establishing Google’s presence in his native Poland, helping build out Google offices in Ann Arbor, MI, and building out Mid-Market Sales team for Google Canada. He also teaches Video and Digital Marketing courses at Michigan State University and acts as Executive In Residence at Eastern Michigan University's Center for Digital Engagement.

He Gao received her Ph.D. in Strategic Management from Arizona State University. Her research is centered on the strategic use of language, competitive dynamics, and strategic leadership. She is particularly interested in how top managers use language to influence stakeholders and competitors. Her research has been published in Academy of Management Review, Journal of Management, and Academy of Management Proceedings.
