BROAD CHINA BUSINESS SOCIETY
Industry Insight & Career Planning
Overview
The Broad China Business Society (BCBS) will host the Michigan-China Forum on Thursday, November 8th. This year’s forum topic is Career Planning & Industry Insight. The Michigan-China-Forum will be held at Wells Hall B122 on November 30th, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.
The objective of the forum is to provide MSU international students with key insights and advice as they begin their professional life following graduation. To assist MSU international students, BCBS has invited International-Chinese alumni to talk about their experiences as professionals in the United States and abroad.
Invited speakers will provide job search advice specifically tailored to international students looking for jobs in the United States or abroad. The alumni will also discuss issues they encountered as they moved from MSU to post-university life and the lessons learned that could help current MSU international students make the transition easier.
Industry insight is out the second focus of the forum. Insight into doing business with China

· Cheong Choon Ng Inventor of Rainbow Looms: Integrating into the American Workforce (?)
The Opportunity
This forum will provide students, university faculties, and business professionals with the opportunity to gain experience from the first-hand insights of the invited speakers, as well as the opportunity for speakers to network with Michigan State University students and Broad alumni. Through such interactions, we hope to further develop the relationship between business leaders and Michigan State University.
